​Ria started painting in 1997 with watercolour, then moved to painting most of her works in acrylic. 

"The beauty of nature inspires me to paint my impressions".

​Ria was a wonderful artist and a strong member of both the Okanagan Artists of Canada and the North Okanagan FCA. She served as both  Treasurer and Membership Secretary for the NOFCA for many years. She will be sadly missed.
