A NOTE FROM FORMER MEMBER
"I could say it is unbelievable how the art group has grown, but, it is NOT unbelievable! Unlike most groups, you are not only artists but also friends. Truly caring for one another, helping one another and cheering each other on! There is a joy and excitement with belonging to the OACS. OACS meets on the third Wednesday of the month (except July and August) at 10:00am at The Vernon Community Arts Centre, Polson Park.
Anyone interested in joining the OACS is welcome to attend.
Membership is currently full. Please email: oacexecutive@gmail.com to be put on the OACS wait list to be notified when a place is available.
Membership includes:
- Opportunities to improve skills and learn new techniques through guest speaker demos at the monthly meetings.
- Enjoy the company of other artists at every meeting and event.
- Participate in OACS Gallery Art Shows, Virtual Shows, workshops and retreats.
- OACS owns art display grids and are available for members to borrow, a $50.00 deposit and donation is required. Please contact Vice President, Pat Doyle .
- Optional: Your own gallery webpage on the OACS website. A $50.00 one time fee includes artist photo, bio plus up to twelve images. To update images, there is a fee of $2.00 per image.
