Alice was born in Saskatchewan, big sky country, hard squeaking snow, incessant winds;  she loved running with the wind.  She lived close to the land.

At age eleven her family moved to Alberta where she finished school and studied to become a Registered Nurse.  When she was fourteen years old her father gave her a “paint by numbers kit” of a horse.  She was off to the races painting horses.

She moved to B.C., worked in the operating room, raised a family, and upon retirement finally found time to paint.

She finds colours exciting, and when painting, loves to build with colour.  She primarily is self taught and after raising three beautiful children and an exciting career in the O.R., painting is her passion.
