• Phone • Website Art was my best subject throughout school and when I made a drawing that looked real I was pleasantly surprised and still am. Being the sixth child of eight and starting my own family very young, art was put on the back burner. Although I consider myself to be mostly self taught, I have taken a drawing course at Vancouver Vocational Institute as well as oil and watercolour classes at night in Vancouver where I was born and raised. We moved to the beautiful Okanagan in 1991, the slower pace of life has been very inspiring. For the last 30 years, I have put focus on my art and have found I do not really have a preference but love to paint people, pets and places in oils. I am happy to be versatile, perhaps it is because I truly love all life. I enjoy doing commissions. |
