SANDRA JOANNE SASGES (Hockett)

​Sandi passed peacefully on March 18, 2024 at the age of 70 leaving a legacy of love and cherished memories.


Sandi was a remarkably strong woman, known not only for her roles as a gifted artist, incredible teacher, world traveller and a yogi but also for her boundless love for life. She loved tennis, pickleball, dragon boating, her vibrant garden and embracing every moment with her beloved family and friends.

Her husband, Murray, her children Lisa Church (Josh), Della Sasges, Wayne Sasges (Bronwen), and Daren Sasges (Grace), along with her cherished grandchildren Camryn, Danielle, Dylan, Beth, and Declan, will forever hold her close in their hearts.

She also leaves behind her dear sisters Shelley Peters (Jim) and Diana Welt (Chris), her brother Gary Hockett (Kristy), stepbrother Andrew Wreggitt (Becky), stepmother Margaret Wreggitt, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Sandi was predeceased by her parents Charlotte and Wayne Hockett, and her grandson, William.
